A small budgeting mistake can turn an “I’m good” to an “Oh no!” But our optional overdraft programs can make sure that mistake doesn’t snowball into something bigger, eliminating the worry of a declined debit card purchase, check or ATM withdrawal.

Savings Overdraft Protection

Let your money have your back. Link your First Federal checking and savings accounts, allowing the money to get moved over to cover your purchase. For complete details, see our Overdraft Coverage Programs disclosures.

Avoiding overdrafts

How can you make sure you’ve always got enough to cover your spending? Here are a few sure-fire ways.

• Set up digital alerts. With our mobile and online banking, you can set up custom alerts that notify you when your account balance drops below a limit.
• Set up calendar reminders. Keep track of your monthly expenses by marking bill due dates on your calendar to avoid overdrafting your accounts.
• Track your spending. Keep track of your account balance by logging into digital banking or by calling our First Info Line at (888) 781-4092.
• Transfer funds. Move funds from your First Federal accounts using our mobile and online banking or by calling our 24-hour First Info Line at (888) 781-4092.
